Tournaments
From counting the seconds for the game to begin, to inching your way to the final table, there is nothing like the excitement of a Wingows Poker Tournament.
Tournament Play is having a group of players compete and eliminate one another until a single Player stands victorious. Typically in all tournaments, players start with a fixed number of chips as the blinds and/or antes increase incrementally. Wingows Poker proudly offers a wide array of Poker Tournaments.
To play in a tournament, start the Game Console and open the "Sit & Go" or the "Tournament" room as desired. Look for a tournament which has a state of "Registering". Once you select any tournament from this list, you will find all relevant information such as Seat Time, Blind Information, Tournament Fee, and Buy-In Fee. Once you find the tournament that is right for you, click the Register button and you will be taken to the table.
Tournaments
- Scheduled Tournaments: These tournaments start at the specified times according to the Wingows Poker Tournament Schedule found here Tournament Schedule
- Sit & Go Tournaments: Sit & Go's start as soon as the last of the defined number of players registers for the tournament. Keep your eye on the Lobby Game Console to find a Sit & Go that is right for you.
- Shootout Tournaments: Similar to Multi-Tables, Shootouts are for those of us who prefer to conquer the entire table before moving on to the next round. There is no 'reseating' or 'collapsing' in a Shootout Tournament, like there would be in a Regular Multi-Table.
- Free Rolls: Everyone's favorite tournament, because you can enter it for free, but the pay-out is real prizes and sometimes even money. Keep your eyes open to the Poker Room page, the Tournament Schedule page, and the Lobby in the game console for the latest Free Roll Tournaments.
- Satellites: These are the tournaments that make dreams come true. In the strictest sense, these are the tournaments you need to win in order to qualify and earn your spot in a bigger tournament. Join our satellites and find your way to Las Vegas .
Tournaments Formats
- Single Table: A Single Table Tournament is always limited to one Table. Unless otherwise specified, a Single Table Tournament is limited to 10 Players, and the top three finishers receive payouts.
- Multi-Table: Multi-Table Tournaments are tournaments where more than one Table is required to accommodate all the players. All the tables will start play simultaneously. Multi-Table are subject to the "Collapsible Rule" meaning that as the number of players at tables starts to dwindle down, players at some tables will be reassigned to other tables. This "reassigning" or "collapsing" will continue until the remaining surviving players meet at the final table. Unless otherwise specified, the players receiving pay-outs is defined by the rules governing Multi-Table Tournaments Tournament Rules.
- Shootout: Shootout Tournaments are like Multi-Table Tournaments, except there is no 'reseating' or 'collapsing' of tables. The winner of each table will move on to the next round, against the winners of the other tables.
Tournaments Types
- Scheduled Tournaments: As the name implies, the start time for the tournament is defined in advance, and will commence at that time.
- Sit & Go Tournaments: Sit & Go Tournaments start as soon as the last of the defined number of players registers for the tournament. For example, in a 10 Player - Sit & Go, the tournament will commence as soon as the 10 th player registers for the tournament.
